This year's Summer Pops moves to the Echo Arena on Liverpool's waterfront. With over 21 shows destined to rock the dock in July, over 200,000 tourists, music lovers and members of the business community will visit this festival of concerts, where many will have opted to enjoy the VIP Experience.
CMP Entertainment was first associated with the Summer Pops in 2001, when it booked artists of the calibre of Bob Dylan, Ray Charles and Shirley Bassey. During CMP Entertainment's 7-year tenure of the event, the familiar green and yellow ‘Big Top', provided a platform for Liverpool to re-instate its rightful place as the venue for the biggest names to perform; something that had been sadly missing from the City's musical skyline for many years. Now the new, 10,000 seated Arena has firmly closed this gap and is already enjoying wide spread accolades about its huge success from the worlds of sport, music and entertainment.
