Since I last wrote I've been very busy sorting a lot of things out for Fashion Rocks Liverpool and have some other events up my sleeve which I will tell you all about very soon.  I'm so excited about these next few weeks but I will keep these lips sealed!!!

My friend Rachel's party was absolutely amazing. All the stops were pulled out and I had one of the best nights ever. James Rooney sang at the party and a cheeky duet was thrown in so it was certainly one to remember!!!   

Cocktails at Parnell's

At this time of year Liverpool is a party haven and what better job to have than a nightlife reviewer so I began by reviewing my new hangout Parnell's on South Road and as its only round the corner from where is live I get to go there before I enter the city centre.  I feel that this venue is a hidden gem in the heart of Crosby.  With an extensive bar menu and regular singers it is kept busy all week with a respective clientele that keeps on coming back for more.  Parnell's is not only a bar it is also a restaurant which boast the best jacket potatoes in town!!!  I love the cocktail menu and also the cocktail hour they have in there so anybody wanting to visit there should take my advice it is the place to be for a comfortable couch with a cocktail in hand. 

Alma de Cuba is another place that always has so much going on that it never fails to deliver. It can pull off any night from Latino to a perfect night.  The bar menu is another one I find hard to choose from which is why I'm always suffering with a major hangover is it a fact or fiction that mixing your drinks is bad for you?? Please let me know!!! 

In my view Garlands is one of Liverpool's finest clubs so you can't go wrong. They have party nights on a Sunday that have been going for as long as I have been going out and they never fail to make me want to stay out. All I want to know is why do Sunday's have to be the end of your weekend??? Carry on Misbehaving is the only Sunday night to last the overflow of "nights" in Liverpool.  It has never changed its theme or policy on music there strict door policy and that's why this club has lasted.  They are also the host to this year's FashionRocks Liverpool and what a night it is going to be.  All I can say is Jed Clark and Lil Jon, Carry on misbehaving!!

So readers, what else can you look forward to?I'd say Passion. This after-hours club is the place to be. It's so full to capacity each week that even I couldn't get in to be apart of what everyone keeps talking about.   

I also want to mention that there is a fabulous club re-opening soon in Formby called Shorrocks Hill. It is about eight weeks away from completion but I will be there as soon as it opens to be part of what I call the best transformation a club as ever undergone.  It not only has a restaurant it also has a gym and a beauty parlour so why go home when you can come out in the afternoon, get pampered, get changed, have your tea in the restaurant and then drink and dance in its luxurious surroundings.
