Dear Sir

Reference -: Trip of a LIVER Time

Liver Academy Football Club pack their boots and shin pads and jet off to Bulgaria in May 2008 (17th-24th) with a prestigious mini tournament against FC NESEBAR, nicknamed the DOLPHINS due to the stadiums sea side location.

The club were founded in 1946 and are a professional football club playing in the Bulgarian Iztochna B Grupa League (14 teams) which is one of two second tier leagues in Bulgaria (Eastern Group B)

Like most teams in Bulgaria they are a multi sport club or at least share a name and fan base with teams playing other sports, over the years and especially during the communist era (1940-80) some teams had as many as 17 different names, the top team in Bulgaria at present is FC Levski

The club have offered to stage the tournament in their own stadium (Stadium Gradski) which has a capacity of 12000, the club will also allow Liver Academy players access to changing and training facilities located at the ground during their 1 week stay.

The club have even offered to pick the squad up from the Airport in the clubs official team coach and transfer them to the team hotel.

This tournament has been arranged by Trevor Mason, Yvonne Mason and Kenny Williams in order for the club to finish on a high at the end of our second season and hopefully promote the club as a whole in order to attract more players from the Kensington area for season 2008-09 and beyond.

The total number of players registered with the club totals 40 (2 teams) but we will only be taking a squad of 17 due to the clubs financial forecast (Accounts) for the remainder of this season and next season.

We have at present 2 key sponsors who are Kensington Regeneration and Lovell Property Development Limited who have sponsored the club financially over the last 2 seasons with strong support from local patrons (Liver Vaults) who have given this football club a strong foundation on which to move forward, we would be grateful if you could publish this letter in the next issue of LOCALXTRA so we can generate more interest in the football club.

Yours Faithfully
