Oh Rambo, you was such a good little doggie

You so loved to chase Charlie, next door?s moggie

Even though you had a big name you was very small

By, but you were brave! You fought them all!

From Sheila?s posh poodle to that great big Labrador up the lane...

to old Donald?s flea ridden mutt, you didn?t half gave ?em some pain

Who?d have thought a shrimp like you could bark quite that loud?

Noise levels like that at my time of life shouldn?t have been allowed

Your favourite food was creamy porridge, you big softie

You always got some of mine too, you were that crafty

You loved to chew on my slippers or play chase with the kids and a ball

You?d have a bit of a growl but you was always so gentle with them all

Rambo, my faithful little friend, you got old but you were never dull

With you life was fun. Our days together were happy and full

It?s a whole lot quieter now and that?s not good. It?s bad.
